+1 to what Ishan said, that photo of you and your daughter needs to be framed if it isn't already. You look so happy!!
Hmm feeling unsure about these names because some of the words like "Anarchy," "Shattered," "Distortion," and "Fractured" don't give off the best vibe/associations, unless these are gonna be some pretty anarchistic maternity shoots lol.
Ethereal Exposure and Pixel Rebel are probably the best out of these, but I think it really depends on the specific vibe/values, more specific than cool/edgy, you see for the business.
Thanks for the feedback, Sandra! I can see how it would come across like that and honestly, I didn’t think about that when I came up with the names. I was thinking more along the lines of the photography techniques used and not the composition of the photos. I want to try to use some techniques that aren’t the standard and sort of break the mold for what these shoots would typically look like. I definitely don’t want to give bad vibes and I don’t want people think I’m doing XXX rated photography, lol. The cool/edgy thing wasn’t for the sake of being cool and edgy but to show I want to break with some “traditional” techniques. Does that change your perception of any of the names?
I know this issue is about you taking photographs, but in my opinion, the best photo in this issue is the one your wife took. You look so happy holding your daughter—it made me smile :)
It was so interesting to read about all the health benefits that came with photography. Do you think those benefits stretch to other forms of creative expression as well?
Thank you, Ishan, that’s my favorite pic out of the bunch as well.
I do think it probably stretches to other forms of creative expression as well, but I think photography has an edge because of the physical nature of many of its forms. Getting out and moving around in order to find subjects to photograph is a big part of the health benefits, in my opinion.
Randy, great thoughts, incredible images. I can’t wait to see many many more. FWIW, I like “ethereal exposure” and further FWIW, I like it without photography or images. Just Ethereal Exposure.
But no matter what anyone shares, I would tell the someone to pick what they like best in a name and don’t pick what someone else tells them unless it’s what they like anyway 😁.
Thanks for the feedback, James! And that is great advice. Sometimes my taste can be a little “out there,” so I thought maybe I should test the waters a bit with the names, lol.

Randy, I'm stoked on how happy this renewal in photography has made you. Anticipating all the stories you'll tell with that R5!
Thanks, Steven. I’m definitely enjoying it. Your class was a great launchpad for that renewed enthusiasm, so thanks for creating it!
