Hit us with your favorite veggie recipes, Randy!!

Also, how would you recommend someone get into vegetarianism--aside from just going cold turkey--is there a "healthy" way to approach it?

P.S. You're KILLING me with this Dairy Queen dialogue 😂

I don't think there is an “unhealthy” way to approach it (unless you eat nothing but French fries and Oreos.) I did it cold turkey. But if you wanted to ease into it, the easiest thing would be to replace the meat you eat with a plant-based meat product a few days a week. I personally don't eat a lot of plant-based meat anymore, and when I do, it’s usually chicken. But when I first became a vegetarian, I ate a ton of it. It's gotten a lot better in the last 18 years, lol. I eat a lot of rice/pasta and vegetable dishes. And I eat nuts every day—walnuts, almonds, pistachios, and of course, peanut butter. I have a smoothie or two each day with protein powder as well. I like plant-based powders, but I will use whey powder sometimes. I am probably the worst guy to ask for specific recipes. I am so simple and repetitive in my diet. I never look for new recipes. I just eat the same thing over and over. My wife does have this recipe for an amazing vegan soup. It's the best soup I've ever had. I'll find it and send it to you.

Hahahahahaha. Definitely no to french fries and daily Oreos. I don't really eat much meat in general, I'm more of a chicken person, but I play with going veg sometimes. It seems to take a lot of experimenting to make sure energy doesn't take a dip, though.

"and of course, peanut butter." lol

I actually don't mind repeating the same meals over and over either. If I like something, that's pretty much what I do anyway, so I hear you!

PLEASE send me the soup recipe when you get it! Soup is my favorite.

I don't remember having a dip in energy, but it was a long time ago, so maybe my memory's just bad, lol.

I'm going to include the recipe in my newsletter this week so keep your eyes peeled 👀
